As we said in the general description these casitas give you adequate facilities in smaller circumstances but with a taste of community life. Ideal if you have children who like similar company and /or learning Spanish at school. If you are golfers you are still on the golf course and within walking distance of a tee. At el olive, the name of the community, there are approximately 100 casitas in rows going back from the perimeter road with the communal swimming pool at the end, a large circular pool with children's paddling area .it is open during July and august from 11.am to 8.30 pm with a break for lunch/siesta about 3.00pm. A guard and attendant by law are at the pool during opening hours. There is also a tennis court, small play area and basketball area. There will be organised games and competitions in July and august with prizes, ranging from domino's to tortilla making, cycling to football, tennis to cards all in different age groups and all with fun in mind.
Sam's place is on three floors entered from the small garden with porch and seating areas. First floor is the lounge; diner and kitchen all open plan with a new fitted kitchen including washing machine, fridge, oven and microwave, plus plenty of worktops. Stairs lead to the second floor where there is two bedrooms, one double bedded the other with two singles which has stairs going to third floor which is an attic type large double-bedded room. The bathroom is on the second floor and comprises of shower cubical, vanity unit hand basin and toilet.
A very comfortable cottage with all the facilities you would need at any time of the year including ceiling fans, free standing fan, netting on windows and sun blinds
Ample linen and towels are supplied we just ask you as usual to bring beach towels.
One thing to remember about any holiday here is the time people eat and play. Everything happens later. So if you are an early riser and early to bed person a community stay may not suit you. It's not noisy but people do tend to eat in the garden at night at not before 9.oopm.its great fun if you like joining in. |
